Advantage Tech is seeking a Data Insights Analyst to join our team. Our client utilizes proprietary, sophisticated technology platforms, to navigate real-time activity and interactions to create real-time opportunities and bring unprecedented speed, predictability and adaptability to every aspect of the marketing function.  Our toolsets provide an unmatched level of data, and we seek individuals that turn that data into actionable marketing insight.

This individual will lead the insights discipline for clients and prospects by developing actionable insights gained through the use of our tools. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both marketing and data and will enjoy creating opportunities for clients to better serve their markets.



Duties /Responsibilities


·         Completes marketing analytics projects requiring collaboration with client stakeholders and internal team


·         Creates client/project appropriate scope outlining key metrics, measurement timelines, reporting deliverables, and alert system


·         Delivers key metrics, reports and dashboards with thorough and actionable interpretation, contributes to the development of hypotheses and actions


·         Responds to follow-up questions with client and internal stakeholders, refines data findings and interprets again to drive data-based insight


·         Provides guidance to internal team regarding tool refinement and additional product development.


·         Develops new and better analytics approaches to solve questions in a creative way



Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications


  • BS or BA in statistics, marketing, computer science or other quantitative field or applicable experience
  • 2-3 years experience in marketing analysis, web analytics and/or CRM analytics
  • 2-3 years experience with Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends or CoreMetrics
  • 1-2 years experience with Tableau Software, Qlikview or other data visualization tools preferred
  • Knowledge of Oracle, SAS, SPSS, and SQL a plus
  • Thorough understanding of online marketing and web metrics
  • Knowledge of database design, applications and data flows a plus
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing platforms such as DoubleClick/DART, Atlas, Eyeblaster, Adwords, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of integrated marketing and CRM disciplines (including primary research, online advertising, customer segmentation, targeting, direct marketing, customer care)
  • Possession of excellent written, oral communication, project management and presentation skills.
  • Ability to present complex data reports, financial analyses, and statistics in a simple and clear way
