Leads the IT Infrastructure Organization to achieve operational excellence in the management / administration of the Company’s Customer-facing Cloud Application, Enterprise Application Portfolio and IT infrastructure while ensuring that end-user computing needs are met. Partners with the Application Development Organization to integrate key Applications that exceed customer expectations.
-Provides strategic direction and leadership for the IT infrastructure team, including setting priorities, coordinating projects and resources, and the reporting of group activities.
-Oversees the monitoring, maintenance, upgrade and administration of all IT systems, including applications, servers, storage, databases, desktops / laptops, mobile phones and peripherals to achieve high availability and performance objectives.
-Negotiates and establishes Service Level Agreements and Operating Level Agreements in alignment with Company Objectives and Customer Needs.
-Defines IT Infrastructure Strategy, Architecture and Standards including Disaster Recovery, Security, Systems and Storage Standards, Systems Management, and Virtual Server Technology Direction to ensure 24x7 Operations and exceed Service Level Agreements.
-Designs, implements, deploys and manages systems/applications monitoring processes and tools to proactively identify and resolve problems within the Company Computing Environment.
-Proactively manages Company and vendor resources to work through events / problems that occur within the Company computing environment in order to minimize end-user impact; appropriately draft and distribute communications to the IT team and affected end-users.
-Supports the end-user computing environment (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, desktop applications,…etc.) to make sure user needs are met; manage service desk technology and resources to resolve end-user issues and requests in an expeditious manner.
-Ensures compliance with Sarbanes Oxley, ISO, PCI and other necessary controls to protect data and information assets. Establishes and manage compliance with necessary IT policies and procedures for the smooth operations and recovery of the computing environment.
-Evaluates, recommends, implements and administers cloud-based services to provide key functionality to the global company. Negotiates and manages contracts with key service providers to ensure service levels are met.
-Participates in developing the Company-wide Security Strategy and ensures protection of critical data and systems in in accordance with regulatory and corporate policies.
-Manages the timely backup and recovery of Applications and Systems to enable the recovery of information should an adverse event occur.
-Designs, manages, upgrades and deploys standardized hardware and software images and configurations for the end-user computing environment in alignment with business requirements.
-Establishes Standardized processes and key operational metrics based upon ITIL to effectively manage the performance of the Operations Organization; includes: Availability and Performance of Applications and Servers, Service Desk Ticket Management, Hardware, Lifecycle Management, etc.
-Researches and recommend new technologies, applications, or hardware.
