The Multi-Platform Computer Operator III (Night Shift- 3 on, 3 off - 6pm to 6am) provides first-level support for all events and incidents occurring in the production network environment. This person is responsible for responding to reports of application outages, monitoring system events, and automated job processing. The Computer Operator duties also include escalating critical events, performing file transfer functions, and following up on automated job processes. They will work in a 24/7 NOC environment, primarily working a rotating shift with limited supervision. This person will monitor system events/alerts and incident reports to ensure maximum service up-time. They will transmit monetary files to our network clients through FTP/SFTP. This person will troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve Level-one network issues. They will monitor the server environment and report server disruptions to the appropriate teams. This person will gather critical information for system events/alerts and incident reports in order to ensure prompt investigation. They will identify application disruptions and contact appropriate I.T. team for resolution. This person will perform administrative duties - password resets and maintain critical documentation. They will follow production schedule and report failed automated jobs to the appropriate individuals. This person will receive and compile support requests by phone, e-mail, and ticketing systems. They will validate all confirmation files from the networks to insure accuracy. This person will initiate and monitor I.T. bridge calls for outages and issues that may occur. They will monitor logical connection on Stratus to ensure maximum availability to card brand networks. This person will be the first contact with networks and others with issues and direct the issues to the proper group.
