The mission of Acclaim Academy Public Charter School (Acclaim) is to provide grades 6 to 12 students the highest quality education possible, no matter the background or previous school experience, in order to fully achieve their personal and academic potential through the acquisition of core knowledge and the skills of analysis, problem-solving, communications, and global responsibility while incorporating the principles of leadership, self-discipline, honor and academic excellence in a military school environment.
Our primary intent is to enable our students to become exemplary citizens, enjoy learning, be able to engage in critical thinking, and to demonstrate complete mastery of educational building blocks and leadership skills to become successful, productive and contributing graduates. Through exemplary teaching methods, small classes, academic support, innovative use of technology and leadership opportunities for all, we seek to enable our students to become productive citizens and to help them shape their futures into satisfying and fulfilling lives.
Students are issued devices as we emphasize a high level of technology as well as a "cloud based" curriculum.
The Instructor is responsible for providing a student-centered educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and psychological growth. The position is responsible for organizing and implementing an instructional program in accordance with Acclaim Academy and state policies and laws that results in students achieving academic success. The Instructor is required to work collaboratively to plan, prepare and implement instructional activities to engage and facilitate student success in a virtual environment. The Instructor tracks and analyzes student performance data and develops learning plans, using resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, learning styles and special needs.
