Our client owns and operates hotels and restaraunts across the country. They are looking for a high caliber, experienced multi-state payroll processor to join their organization. If your skills and talents are a match for our needs, we can open the door to career opportunities!

They have an open position for a Senior Payroll Processor at the Corporate Headquarters in San Antonio, Texas


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
The qualified candidate will be responsible for :

  • · Processing payroll for 1,000-1,500 multi-state, hourly employees using Sage Abra.
  • · Gathering, analyzing and processing assigned multi-state payrolls data using ABRA
  • · Recording and analyzing timesheets, garnishments for accuracy
  • · Running weekly, monthly and quarterly audit reports to assure compliance with Federal and State laws
  • · Ccoordinating with Human Resources regarding employee benefits, unemployment claims and reports.
  • · Proficiency in ABRA, Excel, high volume- 1000+ multistate payroll and taxes required. Additionally, strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication required.
  • · Ideal candidates should have a minimum of five years of successful payroll experience including a strong understanding of payroll processing and regulatory compliance. CPP or FPC preferred.

 

Job Requirements

Requirements: Minimum of 5 years multi-state payroll processing experience is required as well as knowledge of federal and state wage laws. Prior experience with a major ERP system such as Oracle and experience with Crystal reports required. CPP or FPC certification a plus.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment. Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individuals; listens carefully and has the ability to perform as a team member. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
