Job Description

Multi-faceted civil engineering firm has opening for entry level engineering inspectors to perform soils, concrete, asphalt, and steel testing on construction related projects.

  •         Experience and ACI Certification preferred, but NOT REQUIRED. WILL PROVIDE TRAINING.
  •         ICC Certification highly preferred, but NOT REQUIRED.
  •         Responsible for daily testing and observation of materials and work quality.
  •         Verifies conformance of projects with approved contract documents.
  •         Prepares daily reports and reports discrepancies.
  •         Communicates effectively with project manager, contractor and owner/owner’s representative throughout project.
  •         Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel) desirable.
  •         Able to lift minimum 25 pounds.
  •         Able to work in inclement weather, confined spaces, heights, & marine environments.
  •         Positions open for various schedules.
  •         Hourly pay based on experience.
  •         Full-time benefits package includes: health, dental, disability, profit sharing, 401(k), stock options, vacation, & personal leave.
  •        Overtime may be required and occasional weekend or after-hours work will be involved.

Job Requirements

  •         Must possess a valid Driver's License.
  •         Must own reliable transportation and be able to haul testing equipment, wheel barrow, etc.
  •         Must be able to work independently.
  •         Must pass drug screen & background check.
