As a progressive service provider for people with disabilities, Dungarvin Wisconsin is seeking experienced candidates to assist in the development of a challenging, yet rewarding service model as a part-time Mobile Crisis Coordinator.

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Crisis intervention 
  • Assessments for individuals in a psychiatric crisis
  • Providing referrals for community resources to reduce the need for crisis services
  • Crisis stabilization counseling 
  • Short-term community support to individuals, their families, and care workers
  • Mobile outreach
  • Development of Crisis Plans
  • Collaboration with a team of professionals to provide information, consultation and education about mental health crises and services for people with intellectual and mental health disabilities.

Job Requirements

Requirements of the position:

  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited college or university
  • Must have 2 years of work experience providing related direct services.
  • Be able to provide clinical supervision to crisis services staff
  • Must be a Certified Social Worker, Certified Advanced Practice Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Wisconsin at the time of hire. 
  • Must possess reliable transportation and a valid WI driver’s license. 
  • Experience working with individuals with a dual diagnosis of cognitive and mental health disabilities preferred.
