SCOPE:

 Project Manager will play an key role within a large Statement of Controls project.  Qualified Business Side, Project Mangers with have exposure liaising with Technology, interfacing with C-Level internal/external stakeholders.  There are two phases of this project; a mock and go-live external audit within our client’s Operational Risk space.  This role sits within Client Trade Service Group which touches Futures Commission Merchant (FCM), Prime Services (PS) & GS Global Fund Services.  Qualified candidate(s) will have prior, audit & risk project/operations experience within Wholesale Banking, Capital Markets and/or within a Financial Services Advisory Practice.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate reports &  documentation
  • Walk through  mock audit with external stakeholder
  • Data reporting, tracking request, reviewing control documents
  • Design executive level updates and communication plans
  • Provide projects with overall “deliverables lift” by acting as a center point of contact for business managers during the each phase of project
  • Review  of Drafts, Controls Documents, interfacing with Control Owners
  • Ability to work with the technology team to understand issues and aid in solutions

Job Requirements

 

 



Skills & Requirements:

  • 6-8 years Business Side, Project Management experience
  • 2-3+ years within Audit/Risk space
  • Understanding of coordination of an External Audit
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Prior PMO exposure
  • Ability to face off/push back with external stakeholders
  • Prior Capital Markets, Wholesale Banking experience within Risk/Audit  space
  • Strong Excel
  • Client Facing
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, etc. or Computer Science; Post-graduate degree preferred
