Environmental Claims Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Coverage Analysis
  • Evaluation of Liability Exposure
  • Settlement Negotiations
  • Ability to work with counsel
  • Interaction (working relationship) with multiple carriers
  • File Documentation and Reporting

Job Requirements

  • JD, CPCU, ARM preferred
  • Dedicated insurance professional with 10+ years of environmental/pollution claims experience
  • Knowledgeable about state and federal environmental agencies and regulations
  • Handled litigation in California and Oregon
  • Nationwide Experience
  • Working relationship with multiple carriers
  • Worked on a variety of environmental cases
  • Worked on cases with multiple carrier involvement
  • Worked closely with counsel in the development of coverage positions
  • Reviewed policies, analyzed coverage and issues, and prepared detailed coverage position letters
  • Communicates verbally and in writing with policyholders, attorneys, agents, other carriers
  • Documents, files, and provides comprehensive reports
