Job Description

Bridgeway Behavioral Health is a non-profit organization specializing in treatment and services for addictive disorders, domestic violence, and sexual assault. We are a growing company that has been serving clients in eastern Missouri since 1978. Bridgeway currently has approximately 175 full time, part time and on-call social services and administrative positions in several locations and programs around the St. Louis metro area. Bridgeway is seeking a full time Float Chemical Dependency Counselor to be based at our St. Charles, Missouri campus. Although based out of St. Charles, this individual will also provide services on an as needed basis at our residential and outpatient treatment programs located throughout the St. Louis metro area. This person will provide individual and group therapy sessions. This individual must be willing to travel within St. Charles County, St. Louis County, Lincoln County, Warrenton, Montgomery City and Franklin County. Mileage reimbursment is provided.
Standard hours will be Monday through Friday; occasionally may work a weekend. This person must be willing to be flexible with their schedule, some evenings required.

This individual MUST have MSAPCB certification or Missouri licensure with minimum one year paid experience working with drug and alcohol addictions treatment and rehabilitation.

Duties:

Serves as the agency “float" counselor by performing duties at various sites as assigned by supervisor.
Conducts client intake assessments.

• Conduct individual and group therapy for clients with drug and alcohol dependency.

• Provide direct treatment services to clients and families of clients, and maintain necessary file documentation.

• Secure appropriate referrals from other service provider agencies and make such referrals.

• Assist in establishing effective working relationships with other agencies and community resources.

• Provide assistance to clients and families in obtaining counseling for economic, marital, employment, aftercare, and ongoing support.


Job Requirements

 

Missouri LPC or LCSW with minimum one year experience providing chemical addictions treatment.



OR



• RSAP, CCJAP, CSAC I or II (CADC, CRADC) or CASAC (CRAADC) as acknowledged by the Missouri Substance Abuse Professional Credentialing Board, Inc.



Salary Range for Licensed counselors: $36,000/year - $40,000/year

Salary Range for those who have the MSAPCB certifications: $32,000/year - $36,000/year
