Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, monitoring, auditing and updating controls, policies and procedures and other documentation maintained by the IT Governance function.  The IT Governance Associate will identify process improvement opportunities and will promote IT governance best practices and standards.  This position supports the IT Governance team with IT effectiveness and will add value to the business.  The IT Governance team is partnered with Internal Audit to facilitate Sarbanes Oxley compliance through our internal IT service providers. The IT Governance Associate assists the IT Governance team with high-level, broad approach in understanding the people, financials, organizational structure, and processes, to obtain a holistic understanding of the enterprise business architecture and its environment.  This position is “key" for maintaining IT GCC Compliance and assisting with overall improvements in Company cyber security. 

Programming experience is a plus.

The IT Governance Associate will possess the ability to plan and schedule activities over a year or longer, including regular review and coordination of activities required for implementation.   

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1 – 3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong communication and presentation skills to guide business users and IT staff at all levels, as well as demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to think strategically and develop policy and procedures. Additionally, must have ability to create/interpret pivot reports; reconciliation comparisons; and the ability to recognize anomalies. Must be detail oriented, have the ability to identify and define problems, collect incomplete and/or difficult to obtain data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, as well as work within deadlines and prioritize tasks.  Must have the ability to work effectively with broad guidance and review by upper management, as well with precedents, professional standards, general company practices, and maintain confidentiality.
