Job Description

Talbert House, a community-wide nonprofit that operates within five service lines: Adult Behavioral Health, Community Care, Court and Corrections, Housing, and Youth Behavioral Health in the Greater Cincinnati region, is regularly seeking Clinical Service Providers (Therapists/Counselors/Social Workers) for its service teams.  Positions are full-time, primarily first shift; work days are Monday through Friday with a flexible start date in mid-June to mid-August.  Primary duties include: maintaining a caseload of clients; meeting with clients on an individual and/or group basis; providing direct clinical services; assisting clients in more effectively functioning within, or preparing for re-integration into, the community.  Duties will vary by position.

Job Requirements

Clinical Service Provider positions require a Counseling (PC, PCC, PCC-S), Social Work (LSW, LISW, LISW-S), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT, IMFT, IMFT-S), or Nursing (RN) licensure. Licensed-eligible individuals along with those graduating with Social Work (BSW or MSW), Community/Mental Health Counseling (MA), Marriage or Family Therapy (MA), or Nursing (MSN) in Spring or Summer 2013 will be considered for these opportunities.  Each CSP is required to successfully complete training on providing electronic clinical documentation within our software, CATT. This training must be completed within the first eight weeks of hire. 

Physical Requirements: Frequent to constant sitting. Infrequent to occasional standing and walking. Rare climbing. Infrequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Frequent reaching, handling, and fingering. Rare feeling, tasting/smelling or use of color vision. Occasional use of midrange and far visual acuity and depth perception. Frequent use of near visual acuity, visual accommodation and field of vision.
