Compensation ranges for new employees are as follows:  

  • Patient Coordinators/Front Desk:$14/hour to $16/hour plus bonus plan

  • Dental Assistants: $14/hour to $20/hour plus bonus plan

  • Treatment Plan Coordinator: $17 to $20/hour plus bonus plan

  • Dental Office Managers: Range $40,000 to $65,000/yearly plus manager bonus plan (salary based upon office size/revenues)

  • Dental Hygienist: $25/hour to $30/hour plus Hygiene bonus plan

  • General Dentist (Employee)- Paid up to 40% of Collections w/daily draw, malpractice insurance reimbursement, health insurance.

  • Specialists- Paid up to 45% of Collections, health insurance available.

Northwestern Management Services/Gentle Dental Group owns and operates 24 General and Multi-Specialty Dental practices under the well-known brand Gentle Dental as well as a central Support Center, which provides management, administrative and support services for the constituent dental offices. The dental practices are located in Dade County, Broward County, Palm Beach County, Martin and St. Lucie Counties.


Job Requirements

Specific Requirements for Patient Coordinators/Front Desk:

ONLY APPLICANTS WITH DENTAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED. Must be able to efficiently perform (multi-tasking) all usual dental front desk functions in a busy office (including answering phones, scheduling, appointment confirmation, posting treatment and payments, working with insurance and submitting e-claims, filing, handling patient issues, etc.), adhere to office protocol, policies and procedures, master dental insurance plans, and most importantly be a team player doing "whatever is necessary" and having a "can do" attitude!


Specific Requirements for Dental Assistants and Treatment Plan Coordinators
:

 Must be able to professionally assist dentists chairside as directed in a fast-paced environment, follow sterilization, charting, office protocol and other policies and procedures, proficiently make temporary crowns / bridges, pack cord, learn insurance plans, enter treatment plans in computer system, effectively present cases to patients, greet patients and be a "team player" doing whatever is necessary to get the job done!  PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AS YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus for all candidates but not required.  Background checks and references are conducted on all applicants.

 

In addition, Orthodontic Treatment Plan Coordinators must have experience in tracking patient consultations, new patient starts, new patient bandings and tracking schedules of dental assistants.


Specific Job Requirements for Office Managers:

The successful applicant will have a MINIMUM OF TWO (2) YEARS EXPERIENCE in managing a busy dental office, have extensive experience with and knowledge of dental insurance plans (including indemnity, PPO and preferably DMO plans), be able to multi-task effectively, demonstrate strong leadership and team-building skills, be able to effectively implement directives, policies and procedures necessary for the efficient operation of the office and achieve performance goals, and be a very strong "people person" with the ability to effectively coach and resolve staff and patient issues and "make people happy!! PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AS YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION. Specific Requirements for Dental Hygienist:

The successful applicant will have a MINIMUM OF TWO (2) YEARS EXPERIENCE working in a

 in a fast-paced environment regularly communicating with dentists and front desk staff. Must be experienced in performing all duties as it relates to preserving teeth and preventing the spread of oral disease in addition to being a strong "people person". Associates degree or equivalent from 2 year or technical school and Florida Dental Hygiene License is required. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AS YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus for all candidates but not required.  Background checks and references are conducted on all applicants.


Specific Requirements for General Dentists and Specialists:
The successful applicant will have a MINIMUM OF TWO (2) YEARS EXPERIENCE, have knowledge of PPO and HMO insurance plans and hold a Active/Clear Florida Dental License. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus for all candidates but not required. Background checks and references are conducted on all applicants.

Requirements for all Positions:
Unless otherwise specified, at least ONE YEAR OF EXPERIENCE for the specific position is REQUIRED. Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a strong plus!

Experience with Dentrix Software is a strong plus
