Job Description

Calling all Fire and Life Safety Inspectors to join our Telgian team.  These are the people who are on the front line with our customers, making sure that we live our mission: To save lives and property in partnership with our customers. Your first week of orientation, training, along with shadowing one of your fellow inspectors, will ensure that you will be able to perform as one of the best of the best, in this industry. Your home will be your office where Telgian will provide all of the necessary tools: computer, phone, printer, etc., for your success. About the Role


  • Perform Training & Inspections surveys and write reports

  • Communicate all changes in status on assigned work orders to Support Services

  • Interface with internal customers and external customers (as requested) to resolve conflicts relating to survey and report deliverables

  • Identify ways to reduce cost, improve productivity and quality in the delivery of our product

  • Maintain test equipment in good working order and make requests for replacement or acquisition of damaged or non-issued tools


Essential Functions

  • To participate in teams and facilitate the communication and interaction amongst your teams.

  • Responsible for performing inspections, properly documenting and good customer service.

  • Manage work distribution to insure inspections are done timely.

  • Review inspection documents for accuracy.

  • Define potential cost savings and initiatives.

  • Development of quality products.

Job Requirements

Qualified candidates must have:
• A minimum of 2 years of field fire inspection experience
• The ability to travel Monday-Friday
• Licensed in sprinkler and alarm inspection a plus
• Nicet II certification in testing and inspections of water based systems preferred
