Staffing Coordinator / Recruiter

 Responsible for managing all staffing processes, including staff recruitment and management, employee orientation, and maintaining up-to-date employee files.  This will be achieved through the development of a targeted local recruiting plan with creative recruiting ideas.

Staffing Coordinator / Recruiter Job Responsibilities:

  • Management of hiring process, including:
    • Scheduling and conducting interviews for our caregiving staff and completing related paperwork
    • Gathering required background information and paperwork (i.e. W-2's, tax documents, references, background checks, etc) 
    • Monitoring client satisfaction process to ensure any new employees placed at a client are 100% satisfied with caregiver placement 
    • Continual monitoring applicant status (i.e. active, pending, inactive, etc.) and updating caregiver roster
    • Continual monitoring of each employees required credentials and maintaining information in database


  • Developing ongoing recruiting and hiring plan, including:  
    • Develop networking through industry contacts, associations and current employees to find qualified candidates
    • Coordinate and implement recruiting initiatives with local colleges and CNA programs  
    • Utilize the internet for recruitment
    • Conduct/initiate career fairs as needed
    • Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates

  • Maintenance of existing employee database, including:
    • Maintaining employee database to ensure that all active employee certifications are in compliance with corporate, state and federal requirements
    • Gathering feedback on employee performance and customer satisfaction
    • Completing employee performance reviews at regular intervals
    • Answering office phones, including "on-call" phone after normal business hours

    Staffing Coordinator / Recruiter Education and /or Experience:

    • High School graduate required
    • BA preferred, or significant (2 years +) experience in similar position an acceptable alternative
    • Superior customer service
