Navigant Healthcare Cymetrix is a growing full continuum healthcare revenue cycle solutions firm based in California.  We are an innovative partner delivering customized revenue cycle solutions exclusively within the healthcare community. We are dedicated to understanding our clients’ needs and producing exceptional results through superior execution. Cymetrix is currently seeking a qualified and professional to fill a full-time Contract Human Resources Generalist position within the Irvine, CA area.

This is a full time 4 month+ assignment.

Position Summary

The Contract Human Resources (HR) Generalist administers human resource policies and procedures and covers a minimum of two or more functional areas in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource department. The HR Generalist performs a variety of tasks, activities or projects in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), Team Member relations, training and development, company benefits, compensation, organizational development, and general employment.

This position is familiar with and is able to apply standard human resource concepts, practices, relationship management and demonstrate effective communications with individuals at all levels within the supported lines of the organization.  Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The Human Resource Generalist will perform any and all related job duties as assigned

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze HR data, make recommendations to management
  • Assist in preparation of internal Team Member communications with regard to compensation, benefits, or company policies
  • Support leadership planning by reviewing and responding to  management and staff feedback through various sources including annual opinion surveys, suggestions, Team Member exit surveys and advisory groups


Health Benefits

  • Manage and maintain the Company health benefit programs:

-       Monthly new hire health benefit enrollment with all carriers

-       Enter benefit information in ADP Human Resource Benefits Module

  • Manage and coordinate annual open enrollment for company offered health benefits

-       Monthly new hire health benefit enrollment with all carriers

-       Enter benefit information in ADP Human Resource Benefits Module


Leaves of Absence

  • Manage and coordinate Leaves of Absence
  • Provide Team Members with the appropriate Leave of Absence paperwork: LOA Notice, Benefit Payment Notice, Certification of Healthcare Provider (if applicable), FMLA Fact Sheet (if applicable) and LOA / FMLA Policy and Procedure
  • Using QCera leaves of absence technology, process and track Leaves of Absence requests
  • Maintain and update the Leaves of Absence Tracking Log
  • Track Intermittent Team Members FMLA Leaves of Absence in ADP
  • Prepare FMLA / Leave of Absence Letters
  • Track benefits premiums owed by Team Members on a Leave of Absence
  • Assist with ADP issues / questions pertaining to Leaves of Absence
  • Complete State / Colonial Life Disability Forms (when applicable)



  • Assist the Payroll Administrator with processing and auditing payroll semi-monthly
  • Ensuring all payroll change entries are signed off, copied and submitted to corporate


Performance Management

  • Manage and coordinate Performance Reviews
  • Assist in review of evaluation reports and results of the department in relation to established goals
  • Provide coaching, mentoring to management and staff and or policies and procedures to ensure continual improvements in performance expectations


Team Member Relations

  • Provide assessment and guidance regarding Team Member disciplinary activity, including dispute resolution coordination. Consult with managers and staff for  performance improvement action and corrective counseling
  • Assist management and staff with other human resource concerns or issues


Workers Compensation

  • Manage worker’s compensation process and procedure
  • Track and log accident injury reports, follow up with manager, supervisor
  • Track, log and follow up, follow through with injured Team Member
  • Track injured Team Member’s time
  • OSHA Log
  • Interface with Worker’s Compensation broker, insurance carrier and adjusters

Job Requirements

This is a full time 4 month+ assignment 

  • High School Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in a related area and or 2-4 years of experience in the field
  • 2 to 4 years experience in a Human Resource role
  • Related healthcare experience a PLUS
  • Strong knowledge of Federal and State Employment Law
  • Proficient in Word Perfect, Excel, and Outlook
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-up; strong attention to time management and staying one step ahead
  • General knowledge one or more HR area’s; benefits, performance management, wage/compensation, employee relations, payroll
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures
  • Personal responsibility, respect for self and others, innovation through teamwork, dedication to caring and excellence in customer service
