We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join Movado Group as a Regional Sales Representative for the West Coast Market. The Regional Sales Representative will identify, cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and new accounts in order to generate profitable and sustainable business.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the account manager for independent accounts in the territory responsible for the sell-in and sell-thru aspects of the business
  • Achieve annual sales target by brand and communicate product performance to the Director of Sales
  • Identify new business in those segments of the market which offer the greatest potential
  • Follow all guidelines and protocols for maintaining accounts and establishing new accounts
  • Manage inventory, turn, and sell-thru in maximizing sales potential in territory
  • Deliver training to selling specialists as required and assist in merchandising
  • Deliver and replenish merchandise materials ensuring proper product placements, maintenance and brand compliance
  • Regularly update account plans and objectives as appropriate to the sales potential of each customer and keep Director of sales informed of progress at each account
  • Maintain reporting guidelines as required by Director of Sales to include account profiles for all assigned accounts
  • Interact with distribution and sales support within organization
  • Act as liaison for customers with our credit department, including collecting payments if necessary
  • Travel frequently, including overnight travel to serve assigned accounts and territory
  • Keep properly informed on all License Brand products and services
  • Provide call itineraries / monthly schedule / manage expenses

Job Requirements

West Coast Regional Sales Representative

Job Requirements :

  • At least five years of previous account/sales management in watch, jewelry and/or other retail specialty sales is a must
  • Knowledge of territory and potential customers in these areas: CA, OR, WA. Territory to include: Regional chains, watch & jewelry stores, apparel stores, and accessory stores.
  • Working knowledge of retail analytics: retail math, stock and sales plans
  • Primary residence in Southern California
  • Great interpersonal skills, ability to work with customers to develop strong long term relationships
  • Account development experience - Highly developed selling, negotiation and customer relations/ customer service skills
  • Take charge attitude while fostering teamwork and collaboration
  • Knowledge of prospecting strategies
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office. SFA experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
