Job Description

Firstsource is now hiring a team for Call Center work in the Medical Claims office at 5111 Commerce Crossing.  Firstsource Solutions USA, LLC. is an organization that strives to attract and retain excellent people.

The Louisville location is located at 5111 Commerce Crossings Dr. Louisville, KY 40229 just south of Gene Snyder and Preston Highway.

The base hourly rate for this position is $11.50 per hour, with an average matrix hourly rate of $12+ per hour post-training (typically 5 weeks).

  • Candidates must have proven customer service skills. 
  • General knowledge of claims processing.
  • Healthcare background required.
  • Individuals are responsible for taking calls regarding health insurance claims.  
  • This is a production driven environment, with a strong focus on service. 

This position is reviewed on several components, the most prominent being Customer Service, Quality, and Attendance.  


Job Requirements

Must be able to type at lease 45 WPM with accuracy. Pre-assessment will be done in office prior to hire. 

• Previous experience in a call center environment. 

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Knowledge of PC applications and systems.
• Ability to read and interpret general business correspondence, procedure manuals, and specific plan documents.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Excellent keyboarding skills.
• Ability to perform basic math functions – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. 
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment. 
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work in an environment with fluctuating workloads.
