EHR (Electronic Healthcare Records) Lead Technical Project Manager
Gulian & Associates is exclusively partnered with a leading healthcare organization in Philadelphia in their search for an EHR Lead Technical Project Manager. This Project Manager leads and manages a major branch of the EHR project, and any associated subprojects, through the project management life cycle. This is a technical position that requires clear experience with implementation of a variety of technologies which support large healthcare system (networks, IS operations, health applications, etc.). S/he must clearly demonstrate expertise in the areas of change management, team facilitation, project and time management, and organizational communication.
The EHR lead technical project manager is expected to use their extensive technology and project management knowledge to act as a successful change agent to (a) identify needed resources and, working with the EHR program director and other resource managers, assigns individual tasks and responsibilities, (b) manage the day-to-day implementation of operational project aspects, (c) review deliverables prepared by the team before sharing them with upper management, (d) effectively apply the implementation methodology and enforce all project standards, (e) prepare and deliver project documentation as required(f)prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures, (g) manage project issues, dependencies, decisions, build logs, etc., (h) measure project and organizational exposure and recommend risk interventions and (i) ensure project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored.
