Job Description


Maplewood Care Center is looking for qualified, dynamic and excited LPNs to join our team!

Since 1970, Maplewood Care Center has met the changing health care needs of people in our community who seek short-term rehabilitation,  long-term care and memory care. We are a premier health care campus, uniquely organized to provide residence, care services and amenities in homelike, safe and compassionate environments. Our philosophy is simple: We care for our residents as we'd like our family members cared for. 

LPN Responsibilities will include: The LPN is to provide professional quality Nursing, medication set-ups as well as clinical and progress notes.  All responsibilities will be performed in accordance with state and local laws and within the guidelines of his/her professional organization.


Job Requirements

Qualifications for this position include the following:

 
1. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of practice.
2. Effective communicator with staff, families and outside agencies.
3. Ability to prioritize duties.
4. Customer service oriented with knowledge of successful customer service techniques.
5. Ability to understand residents’ charts, doctor’s orders, residents’ plan of care, medication orders. 
6. Must posses the ability to effectively gather clinical data in regards to resident status and condition.
7. Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.
