If you have supervisory experience, and would like to become a phlebotomy supervisor, we will train you to do phlebotomy.

Our Phlebotomy Supervisor position is a hands-on working supervisor who oversees the mobile blood drive. This individual serves as a resource for the phlebotomists and staff working on the blood drive, serves as the primary contact with the blood drive chairperson and ensures safety and compliance for the overall blood drive.  Successful candidates must be:

  • Highly motivated with the ability to multi-task effectively
  • A role model for professionalism in manner, appearance and relationships with   staff and donors.
  • Detail oriented, have a demonstrated ability to work independently and still enjoy working in a structured environment since the Community Blood Center is regulated by the FDA (Food & Drug Administration).  
  • An excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Extremely well organized
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including some weekends

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Supervisory experience required.  Must also have or be able to obtain a Valid MO Class E Driver's License or have a valid KS Driver's License and have excellent driving history.  If you are seeking a challenging supervisory position within the healthcare services industry then this might be the job for you! 


While we are interested in those with phlebotomy experience, Community Blood Center offers a 7-week paid training program for those who have no phlebotomy experience.
