Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

This position is responsible for building relationships with new and existing customers by providing exceptional customer service while selling our products and services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maximize all opportunities to provide superior customer service to our customers
  • Display professionalism and use courtesy when dealing with customers and co-workers
  • Cross sell related products to customers as they call in with inquiries
  • Research and resolve complaints to ensure customer retention and satisfaction
  • Maintain knowledge of Company products and services to accurately communicate subscription and price information
  • Assist customers with electronic services 
  • Accurately update customer records with every phone call
  • Research and respond to customer inquiries and problems in a timely manner
  • Accurately document customer correspondence in QF
  • Actively participate in department incentive programs
  • Understand and have general knowledge of circulation management functions
  • Assist with processing returned mail

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years customer service experience required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good telephone demeanor
  • Problem solving skills, self-motivated, goal and team oriented
  • Strong computer skills; proficient in Excel, Access and MS Word
