Job Description

Responsible for assigned technical radiologic procedures in the department and other areas of the hospital after appropriate training.  Supports Radiology Secretary with clerical duties and assists the Radiology Coordinator in administrative duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Required upon hire and continuous maintenance thereafter:

  • State of Florida license for Certified Radiologic Technologist
  • American Registry for Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • An approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification


  • Graduate of Radiologic Technology program approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association.
  • One year of clinical experience over and above that received in a Radiologic Technology program approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association; or two years of clinical experience if a graduate of a program not approved by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association.
  • Experience with intraoperative procedures and pediatric/orthopedics.

  • Knowledgeable of the physical and psychosocial needs of age specific groups in the environment of care.
