Job Description

Full-time, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday-Fridays

As a Customer Service Assistant, you will support the Patient Services Specialist group by answering phones, faxing, and assisting with other clinical tasks as directed and as needed.  The position provides organizational support by ordering and stocking supplies, as well as maintaining the facility environment.


  • Answers multiline telephone calls and takes messages 
  • Copies, faxes, and scans documents 
  • Monitors printed materials, restocks and reorders 
  • Assists in assembling documents and reports 
  • Coordinates pick-up and delivery of DME 
  • Processes incoming and outgoing mail and packages 
  • Orders and stocks office supplies  
  • Data entry activities as requested 
  • Assures public areas are maintained and performs other facility maintenance duties as assigned 
  • May assist with meeting room set-up and tear-down 
  • May work evenings and weekends as needed

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Formal training and/or work experience in a health care setting and an understanding of medical
  •      terminology

  • One to two years experience and/or training in  general office practices
  • Demonstrate typing, filing, data entry, report processing, multi-line telephone and facsimile transmission
  •      competency.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload
  • Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Must have excellent computer skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA rules
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
