Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Job Description

The Technologist is responsible for timely and accurate test analysis using moderately complex methods and/or instrumentation. Reporting of results for patient samples is often interpretive in nature. Also responsible for instrument maintenance/standardization, daily quality control and adherence to all laboratory policies.

Job Requirements

BS in Medical Laboratory Technology and meets NYS DOE requirements for licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist. Candidates with a AAS Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and NYS license or permit for Clinical Laboratory Technician will be considered. One year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist preferred. License/Certification Required: New York State license or permit for Clinical Laboratory Technologist as determined by regulatory authorities. Can perform laboratory processes, prioritize and multi-task.
