Commercial Insurance Account Manager

Job Description

            Process endorsements (monied and non-monied)

            Issue notices of cancellation, notices of non-renewal and reinstatement notices

            Type and issue XS and Umbrella policies

            Process binders

            Review MVRs and take appropriate action

            Review Loss Runs

            Policy file set-up and maintenance

            Audits – request, review and endorse if necessary

            Research discrepancies between renewal information and in-force policies

            Review of initial submission, follow up for obvious missing information

Job Requirements

Ability to work independently and within state specific guidelines.

Working knowledge of  underwriting concepts.

Strong negotiation skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Excellent marketing skills.

Outstanding analytical skills and thorough knowledge of underwriting guidelines and authority levels.
Minimum 2 years experience

Bachelors Degree preferred

CIC designation preferred
