Job Description


Our IT Core Development team is searching for a Sr. Practice Lead I, Services to direct/Manage Services Development Practice. Direct all new Services/Intergate related new implementation initiatives. Direct development of all newly identified Business Change Requests including system defects and enhancements. Assuming overall management responsibility for all aspects of the development Services and its staff; planning, coordination and monitoring the progress of development initiatives to ensure their ongoing alignment with business goals; and hiring, training, motivating and evaluating staff.


Responsibilities:


 

  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of TracFone's SOA blueprint.
  • Meet, guide and agree on business functions that need to be added/supported by TracFone's service offerings with different business units.
  • Provides a clear vision and guidelines for the development team in order to be consistent with the direction of the company.
  • Extend and maintain TracFone's canonical data model.
  • Responsible for maintaining TracFone's provisioning systems (a.k.a. Intergate) and supporting issues that arise during day to day operation as well as during partner upgrades.
  • Develops and nurtures team work amongst practices.
  • Resource allocation within practice.
  • Forecast resource needs base on projects forecast.
  • Mentor and guide development team.
  • Manage personnel reporting.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent required. Master’s degree desirable.
  • Professional Certifications in Technology and IT Management is desirable.
  • Overall 12 plus years of IT Life Cycle Experience required
  • Strong development experience in Java/J2EE
  • Developing Enterprise applications using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) technology, or other enterprise architectures.
  • Oracle suite of products knowledge a big plus.
  • Strong Management experienced required.
  • Experience with Industry Standards/Best Practices in IT required
  • Experience in SDLC required
