Greet and assist visitors, answer their inquiries, and directs them to the appropriate persons according to their needs. Answers a multi-line telephone system and respondsto customer requests efficiantly in a friendly, courteous and professional maner. This includes taking messages or transferring calls to the appropriate departments.
Will use discretion and judgement in responding to inquiries from employees, physicians, patients and family members. Determines the urgency of the situation, assists caller or visitor, and informs the appropriate supervisor when the situation warrants further attention or action.
Serves as a key point of contact with vendors and responsible for maintaining the vendor cerification processes.
Interprets policies and procedures pertaining to department and/or functional areas. May provide input/recommendations for evaluating and developing policies and procedures.
Disercts activities of assigned personnel, conducts research, gathers and compiles information for presentation, may prepare reports.
Manages and maintains assigned VP's or Physician's schedule, makes travel arrangements.
