Rug & Home
 has a position for either a Part-Time or Full-Time Bookkeeper

This individual must have experience in bookkeeping (at least 2-3 years).

Individual be very detail oriented and willing to pitch in where needed as this position is in a retail setting.  Experience with Excel spreadsheets is required.  This individual must be organized and able to work efficiently in a hectic environment.  Excellent communication skills is a must.


Job Requirements

This job requires: 
  • Strong computer skills 
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills.  
  • Sage Peachtree (experience preferred)

Duties include but not limited to the following:
a)  Checking invoices against purchase orders
b)  Posting Invoices
c)  Writing Checks
d)  Monthly Sales and Use Tax
e)  Reconciling vendor statements.  Contacting vendors.
f)  Monthly Bank Statements


Salary Range at $12.00 - $14.00 per hour (depending on experience).  Able to work under pressure, multi task and meet deadlines..
