Medical Sales Rep - Surgical Equipment  (Exp. & Entry level)

SUMMARY:  

The Medical Sales Rep is responsible for selling Cardiology Equipment and other focused products to achieve financial and strategic goals within an assigned territory. This role will develop and maintain customer relationships at Hospitals and Acute Care (LTAC) facilities. This role will act as the primary medical sales representative in acute care settings to influence the adoption and continued usage of the company's medical products.

Sales Representative – Medical Equipment   (Exp. & Entry level)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:  (Medical Sales Rep – Medical Equipment)

·         Developing and managing relationships with key customer decision-makers including clinical, procurement, and materials management staff
·         Establishing and driving usage protocols to optimize revenue for medical equipment products and clinical products
·         Market the introduction of new medical technologies
·         Managing the transition of patients from acute to post-acute care
·         Utilize salesforce.com to assist in developing a territory plan to prioritize account calls and activities
·         Maintaining sales call data by entering into designated medical product system.
·         Frequent sales calls to customer physicians, clinics, hospitals and offsite meetings.
·         Completing required corporate and region reports within designated time frames
·         Manage administrative responsibilities including: expense reports, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:   (Medical Sales Rep – Medical Equipment)


·         Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but equivalent sales experience will be considered
·         Some outside sales experience
·         Proficient with MS office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
·         Medical device/equipment sales training or education
·         Hospital or operating room sales credentialing (VCS, RepTrax, or Vendormate)
·         Ability to communicate technical medical terminology with healthcare professionals
·         Participated in a formal sales training program previously and be able to complete all industry certifications
·         Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical periodicals, professional medical journals, technical   procedures, or governmental Medial Sales regulations. 
·         Ability to manage corporate card, submit expense report; work within a budget
