Description: This individual will oversee the
caregiving staff and will be responsible for client and employee satisfaction.
Manager is responsible for all components of Comforcare’s care delivery.
This begins with assessing new clients, creating their care plan, and determining
the best way to train aides for their first shift with the client. The manager will introduce new caregivers to
clients, and follow up with clients and caregivers to ensure things are going
well. The manager will conduct
supervisory visits of aides and identify training needs.
Manager will also assist with meeting with families considering hiring
Comforcare, which involves answering questions, addressing concerns, and
communicating what is unique about Comforcare.
Manager will be cross-trained in scheduling, and answer after-hours office
phone calls one week per month. This
person must be motivated to learn all aspects of the business, and to
contribute to the overall success of it.
Although this position is part time, Comforcare’s staff is providing
care 24/7 so the management staff are
often called upon after business hours.
Comforcare’s non-medical care duties include:
personal care (bathing, toileting, dressing), homemaking (cooking, cleaning,
etc.), medication reminding, transfers for those unable to walk,
transportation, and companionship. Client needs range from someone needing help
just a few hours per week, through someone who is bed bound and on hospice
