Job Summary:
The Senior Report Analyst will use internal Client and SilverScript systems to design, develop, and produce professional enrollment reports and data files for several Medicare Part D plans.
The reports created will be delivered to our clients peers, Senior leadership, and external clients. Many of the reports and/or file creations are complex and will need to incorporate data from a variety of internal systems across multiple DB platforms

Additionally, as Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) provides further operational guidance, the Reporting/Analytics Analyst will support Medicare Operations Teams in ensuring that proper changes are implemented and documented. Many of the deliverables associated with this position are time sensitive in nature and may be subject to internal controls or audits. This position will also interface with other areas within the organization as new processes are written to support the CMS/Medicare systems.

Job Requirements

Prior experience with health plans, Medicare Part D, enrollment systems or government programs is preferred but not required.
Preference will be given to those with significant experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
The success of this position is directly coupled to bringing SQL development best practices to build manageable, scalable, and high-performance SQL code
Has good understanding of various data modeling techniques.
Experience with a business intelligence or other business analytics software is a plus (Cognos, Crystal, Business Objects)

8+ years of related experience
A minimum of 5 years of Microsoft SQL Server database development experience, troubleshooting, tuning Microsoft SQL and proficiency with database query optimization
A minimum of 4 years of experience designing SQL Analysis Services
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server is required. Proficiency with SQL 2008/R2 versions is required. (experience with Microsoft T-SQL preferred)
Capable of writing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and views for ad-hoc, recurring standard reports or file builds
Has a good understanding and exposure to multiple RDBMS, as well as complex SQL Report Development skills across a variety of DB platforms.
Proficiency with database design and, working knowledge of logical and physical data models
Analyzes problem areas, designs and implements system improvements.
The responsibilities of this role include design, develop, implement and tune complex Med D enterprise level reporting database systems for Med D reporting purposes
Senior-level experience with SSAS, SSIS is essential.
SDLC process experience and knowledge to insure the delivery of a Quality Reporting application with the appropriate documentations and on-going support. Be a mentor to less experience team members and drive compliance for best practices, methods, standards and processes.

Details-driven personality with a strong desire to develop and document processes and tools
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and ensure tasks are completed on schedule
Manage the development, quality assurance and user acceptance testing of all report databases and associated reports requested
Respond to user requests for new tables, procedures, views and reports that support the reconcilement of Medicare Part D plans, utilizing the internal enrollment systems.
Ability to deliver error free results within tight time frames, and requires the ability to shift priorities as required by business needs.
Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Access, Visio, and Excel.
Participate in process improvement efforts involving other cross-functional teams
Provide support for production systems, including rotational on-call support, when required
In summary: the candidate in this role will design, code, test, debug, document, deploy, and support solutions that ultimately improve health outcome, quality of care, and patient safety. This includes the timely handling of all CMS/Compliance and SLA reporting requirements.
