Business Development Sales Executive

Job Description

The Business Development Sales Executive is responsible for developing new clients for the agency according to pre-defined client criteria. The Executive gathers information about prospects that fit client criteria and prepares research reports to be used in attracting prospects to the agency. The Business Development Account Executive makes appointments, cold calls leads and stays in touch with prospects via regular correspondence and mailings.


Essential Job Functions:

      Report to work during scheduled business hours.

      Responsible for clearly defining prospect procurement strategy

          o Maintain Customer Relationship Management tool which includes: names addresses, phone &  fax numbers, email, etc. along with related contact records.

    Report on progress through providing a weekly call report detailing number of calls, emails,       appointments, presentations, contracts signed and transitions for the week.

           o    Set an average of three appointments per week.

       Researching business sectors to establish prospects.

      Generating leads and meetings from prospecting activities.

      Making contact and forming relationships with senior client personnel.


Job Requirements

The Ideal Candidate will have:

      Contacts in the Kansas City marketing place that can be introduced to Gragg Advertising.

      One or more years of advertising agency or similar support experience are necessary.

      Expertise in SEO, SMM, RWD, Creative Work, Branding, Marketing Tactics & Strategies

      Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

      Working knowledge of or other CRM tools


          All other duties as assigned.
