We are looking for a Swiss CNC Lathe Programmer to develop processes and generate CNC code. Interested candidates can have manual CNC programing or use of cam software such as Partmaker, Esprit or Mastercam. Our client will consider candidates who came from engineering or came up the ranks as a machinist and gained CNC programming training. The Swiss CNC Programmer will work from a solid model or from a print. Experience with Gd&T, cutting tool applications and shop math is needed. Knowledge of feeds and speeds is required. Swiss CNC Programmers who develop macro programs is a plus. The ideal candidate will have direct experience on Marubeni Citizen swiss lathes, however, will consider Star, Tsugami, Nomura, Hanwha, Tornos Deco or other brands of swiss lathes. Past experience developing CNC code for medical devices or orthopedic implants such as bone screws is preferred.
MUST HAVE: 5 years of experience developing CNC code for Swiss CNC Lathes, Swiss CNC programming candidates will need strong shop math, ability to calculate cycle times, good cutting tool applications experience and direct swiss lathe experience. Knowledge of Citizen swiss lathe programming is a plus, but not required. We will consider degreed candidates or swiss CNC programmers who came up the ranks. Medical device experience is a plus, however, not required.
