Job Description

The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing support within the Human resources Department. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to recruitment, file maintenance and assisting in HR compliance audits. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in recruitment process by creating and posting job ads.  Follows established recruitment process to ensure effective and timely recruitment. 

Screen and forward resume to proper hiring managers. Set up and maintain recruitment files

Maintain employee files including but not limited to creating new employee files, tracking of all new hire paperwork, online trainings and I-9 records

Assist with ongoing document tracking and file audits

Facilitate the Exit Interview process and submit all subsequent reports

Coordinate and execute quarterly and annual Employee Awards process

Assist with coordination of company sponsored events

Prepare a variety of correspondence and internal communication

Assist HR team members with HR related projects

Regular and consistent attendance 

Job Requirements

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of administrative experience preferably within a Human Resources Department.  The position requires personal computer skills (Microsoft Office, inclusive of Word, Excel, and Outlook).  Excellent spelling and grammar skills with the ability to communicate in a courteous, tactful and concise manner, is essential.
