Job Description

Alliance Healthcare Solutions has partnered with a reputable Healthcare organization in Canton, Ohio to assume the role of Healthcare Administrator. As Healthcare Administrator, one would oversee the administrative and clinical services for multiple physician office sites and hospital-based employed physician practices of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting, Planning, Office Staffing, Recruitment, Training and Support for all sites, and overall physician practice administration
  • Assure proper oversight for communications with the organization's billing company  and communicate and monitor accounts receivable, audit performance, understand coding, billing and EMR systems, as well as have competency with technology, current best practices for quality, HCPS and patient satisfaction
  • Shall possess financial reporting skills and will be asked to present to hospital administration, the Board of Directors, hospital Board of Directors, and the health system as well as individual physician providers who are part of the organization
  • (S)he shall understand Physician Hospital Organizations, Accountable Care Organizations and work collaboratively with those associated with leading those tasks

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Education:  MBA or MHA preferred.  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • Licensure/Certification:  None required
  • Professional Experience:  At least 10 years experience in the field or in a related area.  Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures.  Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  Understanding the hospital environment advantageous. Proven leadership with physicians and positive financial outcomes in practice management with strong financial and communications skills.  Must demonstrate an aptitude for working with people of diverse backgrounds. Should have a working understanding of medical practice valuation and assessment protocols for purchasing or recommending better alignment with existing practices in the market. Must have knowledge of best practices in physician compensation.
