Job Description

Mortgage Process Project Manager - As a Project/Process Manager you will lead teams of Business Analysts responsible for a variety of projects, process changes and training of mortgage teams. Lead and participate in meetings at the operational level.  

A large financial institution in Charlotte is currently hiring for candidates with strong Project Management and Process Management backgrounds to implement changes in mortgage fulfillment. We are looking for professional candidates with 5+ years of Project Management experience. Experience in the mortgage industry is necessary! These positions have the opportunity for growth and long term advancement.

As a Project/Process Manager you will play a key role as follows:

  • Mortgage Process Project Manager will lead teams of Business Analysts responsible for a variety of projects, process changes and training of the mortgage team.
  • Responsible for the timely execution of project tasks, stakeholder updates, resolving and escalating issues.
  • Lead and participate in meetings at the operational and project level

Job Requirements


  • 5 years of mortgage experience
  • 5 years of management experience
  • PMP desired
  • Bachelor's degree
  • The Mortgage Process Project Manager will have the ability to manage, organize, and control activities of projects that may be complex in scope
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and interact with all levels
  • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize
  • Ability to provide Senior Management updates, as well as necessary escalations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Developing project requirements, assigning priorities, establishing deadlines, and tracking problems while ensuring capacity within the operations team is properly assessed
  • Strong Project management software, Visio, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

Pay is dependent on experience, starting at $85/hr
