What You’ll Be Responsible For:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing IT business contacts, uncovering and developing new clients in order to fulfill permanent placement, contract placement and contract to hire needs. The Business Development Manager is expected to gather the necessary job requisitions and facilitate the job requisition information to the Recruiting Development Manager.
Business Development Managers arealso required to forecast financial projections for growing the business in his or her territory. The Sr. Business Development Manager will market to clients by phone, as well as face to face for the purpose of prospecting new business and identifying permanent, contract, and contract to hire opportunities.
The Business Development Manager is expected to source qualified IT opportunities and must demonstrate experienced judgment to accurately qualify job requisitions, negotiate rates that are profitable, and secure the client’s commitment to utilize NTRC consultants.
The Senior Business Development Manager is expected to maintain and further develop relationships with NTRC's clients to build a long lasting commitment to NTRC. The qualified individual will work in this position in a team environment along with the Sr. Recruiting Development Manager and recruiting team, while being held accountable for individual sales growth goals.
Day to Day Activities Include:
- Client development
- Job requisition management
- Consultant relationship building
- Recruiter relationship building
- Business planning
- Database maintenance / Cold Calling is part of this role.
In addition to the responsibilities listed above, techniques for key metric activities such as cold calls, client calls, discussions with Recruiting Development Managers, with respect to job orders, candidate interviews, etc., and by providing guidance and feedback to senior management.
