Toddler/First Steps Lead Teacher

Toddler/First Steps Lead Teacher

Job Description

Are you an Early Childhood Educator that loves finger painting, (to allow the children a new sensory experience, of course) blowing bubbles, (to demonstrate cause and effect, why else?) and reading stories using puppets and other props (to encourage a playful spirit and to show the children that reading is fun, yes!) Are you familiar with using American Sign Language to develop pre-verbal vocabulary?  Do you love being a part of young infant’s lives—helping them reach new milestones and being around as their sweet personalities develop?   Do you want to work in a place where you feel supported by the on site owners and directors?

Come join a premiere preschool located on Wilmington's beautiful riverfront! We are searching for an outstanding lead teacher for our Toddler/First Steps room to round out our already amazing faculty.   We also offer frequent training opportunities for career development.  Lead teachers are responsible for lesson planning, documenting developmental progress, maintaining the classroom and total care of children in the classroom.

We offer competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Please submit a resume and salary history in response to this posting to schedule an interview.

We look forward to meeting you.
