Job Summary
The Brown & Brown Anaheim office is seeking an experienced and LICENSED Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for servicing a book of existing business consisting of mainly middle market Commercial accounts. The ideal candidate would possess the ability to quickly learn new systems and applications, be a self-starter with good organizational and multi-tasking skills. They must be familiar with all aspects of insurance services from the application process to policy analysis. They must be familiar with all lines of coverage including, work comp, general liability, auto, E&O and excess. They must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment and posses the ability to prioritize and work independently and as part of a team. They must be able to communicate professionally with their peers, producers, clients, company underwriters and agents. The qualified candidate will be managing a book of business of approx. $750K in revenue (not premium) and working with one to two producers. Word processing skills and a strong knowledge of Excel are a must. We utilize the AMS360 system. While knowledge of this system is a plus, we will certainly offer training. Competencies Required
Currently holds a P&C license in California • At least 6 years of experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager • Strong organizational skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to multi-task projects and prioritize • Knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverages and forms • Self motivated and results oriented • Team Player
Applicants with less than 5 solid recent years of experience in Commercial Lines need not apply.

Account Managers receive a base salary that is negotiated depending on the background and experience of each applicant. In addition to the base salary, Brown & Brown offers a full employee benefit offering that includes a 401k plan, an employee stock purchase plan, medical, dental vision and other voluntary products. Brown & Brown also pays for insurance licensing and related continuing education credits.
