Job Description


The Front desk agent  is a member of the Front Office team. S/he are responsible for: maintaining and promoting hospitality at all times; welcoming and serving guests in a courteous, efficient and friendly manner, both face-to-face and on the phone. As part of this job, this individual is required to: demonstrate good computer skills; accurately handle cash and charges; present a friendly, outgoing, energetic and guest service oriented demeanor.

*Oversee the daily shift operations of the Front Desk ensuring the highest levels of guest service.
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment, with a high emphasis on customer service.
* Perform word processing, data entry and other miscellaneous duties as delegated by the Front Office Manager and typically performed for Front Office. Complete morning or evening Front Office reports 
*Resolve customer complaints; anticipate potential problems by reviewing and monitoring complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and quality
*Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
*Working, hands on position. Cover shifts if necessary
*Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, amenities, and selling strategies. Clean lobby, breakfast room, and back office area.
