Job Summary

Under general supervision, project manages the completion of assigned client food safety audits. Educates and trains client employees, including hourly and salaried staff levels, on food safety practices. Conduct food safety training for clients and works with them to adopt important safety principles. Prepare written analysis for clients setting forth scope of an audit, observations, assessments, and recommendations.

Job Responsibility

Project manages the completion of assigned client food safety audits. 

Serves as a liaison between the client and the Health Department during the audit process.

Utilizes food safety knowledge and training to analyze and assess food safety, sanitation, and security measures at client locations primarily restaurants, mass merchandizers, and grocery stores.

Educates and trains client employees, including hourly and salaried staff, on food safety practices.

Supports the client adoption of important food safety principles.

Prepares written analysis for clients setting forth scope of audits, observations, assessment and recommendation.

Performs other duties as directed.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements


University degree in a science curriculum or a Bachelor’s degree in a non-science curriculum plus generally two years of food protection experience, or an Associate’s degree with four years of experience with food related



Strong computer skills with Microsoft Excel


Strong customer service and communication skills


Ability to meet deadlines and manage project expectations.
