Job Description

We are looking for an individual with a proven sales background in Enterprise Software and building strategic business relationships.

The Regional Sales Executive will focus on selling to private and public enterprise organizations in the US and will have a key role in establishing and maintaining new business relationships for MatsSoft, a UK based advanced dashboard and monitoring software application, catering to solving modern Business Performance Issues.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work with Sales Leadership to scope territory and identify a pipeline of potential MatsSoft customers
  • Work with the largest corporate customers to close initial departmental deals
  • Work with the Inside Sales team to seamlessly take over growing accounts
  • Coordinate multiple outside sales activities within your region
  • Build trusted relationships with the key sponsors within customers
  • Work with MatsSoft and key customers to establish medium term account plans that scope continuous deployment across all relevant departments
  • Work with engineering and partners to ensure that deployments are successful and that customer advocacy remains high
  • Continually re-qualify that all stakeholders are still engaged
  • Forecast accurately to the Sales Director
  • Over achieve revenue targets
  • Build long lasting and trusted relationships with customers and partners
  • Promote, attend and network field-marketing events
  • Become an Industry thinker and leader in Application Development gaining credibility through bodies, panels and associations

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • This person will have a track record of overachieving targets selling software into the office of the CIO for a tier one enterprise software vendor
  • Proven new business sales experience with track record in large/complex enterprise software sales with consistent over target performance
  • Experience of selling into large organizations
  • Understanding of the business issues impacting large enterprise organizations with ability to educate/evangelise and so generate opportunities out of this knowledge
  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex technology concepts
  • Experience in influencing commercial and technical communities - both internally and within customer organizations
  • Experience of managing large complex account relationships
  • Strong network of contacts across South African enterprise organizations
  • Ability to work credibly at all levels especially at CXO level
  • Self-starter able to work with minimum supervision
  • Able to know when to seek guidance
  • Self-critical and eager to improve and optimize the sales processes and tools
  • Proactive in seeking new business opportunities
  • Strong forecasting ability, with a thorough understanding of deal opportunity cost
  • Experience in selling into an office, with a disruptive sale
  • High level of trust and integrity

 

Job Requirements

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

 

·      10 plus years experience and a proven track record in software sales 

·      Great track record of hiring and growing sales teams and ability to do so with speed.

·      Hands-on experience strategizing and negotiating complex sales deals.

·      Ability to operate at both a strategic/conceptual level and at a detailed, operational level.

·      Metrics driven; highly disciplined process orientation.

·      Outstanding communication, presentation, networking, and organizational skills.
