Regional Sales Associate - Westlake Flooring

Job Description

This position will be responsible to oversee all sales activities and account development within the assigned region. The ideal candidate has to manage quality and consistency of product and deliver exceptional customer service to current and prospective dealers.

The Regional Sales Associate will be responsible for lead generation through account creation with our valued dealer base of sub-prime and near-prime automobile dealerships. This successful candidate has to accomplish sustained growth using consistent and strong interaction with our internal and external partners, provide complete product knowledge and conducting in-depth market research.

Primary Responsibilites:

• Sign dealerships up for Westlake Flooring lines of credit

• Identify and target selected dealerships understanding the primary objectives of the company
• Timely follow up of new leads, referrals and of dealer sign-up packages sent out.
• Prepare, present and schedule dealership and auction visits
• Identify and resolve customer issues and provide training when required, for dealership personnel
• Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships within the automobile community
• Maintain open communication with dealerships and keep them up to date on program changes and promotions
• Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows and telemarketing blitz’s
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
• Ability to develop long-term business relationships with dealer base
• Sales presentation skills and ability to persuade and gain confidence of prospective clients
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques with 3 to 5 years sales or marketing experience preferred
• Ability to develop and edit written communications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A professional appearance with ability to portray a positive image is required
• This position requires significant local travel to current and potential dealerships – a reliable vehicle is necessary
• Requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel may be necessary

Job Requirements


• Automobile finance and/or sales experience
• Self-starter / Self-motivated
• College Degree preferred
• Familiarity with CRM systems
• Computer skills are required; MS Office
