Restaurant General Manager/ Food Service Manager


We are looking for talented Restaurant General Managers to join our team. Tacala is a 255 Taco Bell restaurant franchise group located in seven states. We are the largest franchisee of Taco Bell stores in the nation. We are a growing organization and are looking for Restaurant General Managers to join our team and to have the opportunity for career development and advancement.

Our Restaurant General Managers (RGM) act like owners of a $1.3 million business. Building a great team through leadership and exceptional kindness is a must. We operate our restaurants with a “here to serve” mentality. This starts by serving our fellow employees so that we can deliver excellent service to our guests. Developing team, encouraging people and working as a team leaders is a must. The Restaurant General Manager is also in charge of the business. Food cost, labor cost, and managing a P&L are requirements for our leaders.

Restaurant General Manager Job Duties:

          Manage a profit and loss statement

          Control labor costs & food costs

          Other business related functions

          Build, motivate, and train a team required to operate store

          Deliver excellent service to guests

Compensation and Benefits package for our Restaurant General Managers

          $45,000 to $55,000 (depending on experience)

Job Requirements

Expectations and Requirements of a Restaurant General Manager:

          50 hours/week in the store

          Lead the entire business and are required to have the business maturity and professionalism necessary to handle that responsibility

          One year supervisory experience in a food service environment

          Ability to manage a profit and loss statement, control labor costs, food costs and other business related functions

          Beyond business skills, Restaurant General Managers are required to be team builders

o        You must be able to motivate others, create a stable environment, handle conflict and encourage recognition

o        A good Restaurant General Manager takes care of employees and customers
