Our Client is currently looking to expand staff with an additional Quality Analyst position. This position will be responsible for testing customer facing web applications. This analyst will work directly with multiple IT areas and the business partners to provide testing services (both manual and automated) to deliver business solutions.

Successful candidate must be a self-starter with a broad base of analytical, technical and problem solving skills, as well as have demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fluid, face-paced environment. This role requires effective communication skills, both with team members and business partners. The QA Analyst must be able to work with minimal supervision on small and medium sized projects. Candidates must possess experience working as part of an Agile Scrum team and have three or more years of hands on experience utilizing both the HP Test Management tool and HP UFT/QTP.


•         Actively engage and collaborate with the project team

•         Maximize testing efficiency through risk and gap analysis

•         Provide analysis of requirements and design documents

•         Provide level of effort estimates for testing tasks

•         Design and execute test cases and test scripts

•         Identify test data necessary to support test cases

•         Enable testing efficiency by utilizing test automation tools to develop and maintain automation to expedite software testing

•         Identify, escalate and communicate risk issues to project leadership

•         Provide reporting of progress, inhibitors, and planned activities

•         Maintain integrity and traceability of testing artifacts

•         Ensure the software implements functionality as specified in Business Requirements

•         Participate in implementation activities by providing post implementation validation

•         Provide input into best practices on test strategies and methods

•         Provide leadership on assigned projects


•         Bachelor’s Degree in computer related studies or equivalent quality assurance work


Job Requirements




•         3+ years direct experience performing manual software testing utilizing HP ALM/Quality Center

•         Skilled in requirements and design analysis and interpretation

•         Skilled in creating best practice infused test plans and test scripts

•         Skilled in test execution, evaluation and report of results

•         Skilled in defect identification and documentation

•         1 year direct experience designing, writing, executing and maintaining test automation scripts utilizing HP UFT/QTP

•         1+ years experience testing web based applications

•         1+ years developing and performing queries against a SQL database environment

•         1+ years working on an Agile/Scrum team

•         Experience working with mainframe applications

•         Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) required

•         3-5 years banking experience preferred but not required
