Job Description

Cardiocom, Medtronic's leading telehealth company has an exciting opportunity as a Sr. Software Developer – Mobile Web Application Developer.  The Sr. Software Developer is responsible for creating, maintaining, and expanding software systems over multiple platforms, which are used internally and externally. This position demands a high degree of knowledge, adaptability and accuracy in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your existing skills and to gain new skills at all times. This is considered an experienced developer position and requires strong technical skills in Web/Mobile Web Application Development, ASP.NET MVC, jQuery, SQL and C#/.NET 4.0.

 

~Position located in Chanhassen, MN (relocation assistance may be considered)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Developing all aspects of n-tier ASP.NET enterprise-level software solutions using Microsoft technologies
• Designing & developing SQL Server based relational database architecture
• Developing interfaces between business applications
• Creating and maintaining desktop applications and windows services
• Building interactive client reports
• Collaborating with project management/business stakeholders to help define requirements
• Writing technical and support documentation
• Contributing to the success of a rapidly growing, cutting edge software framework
 

Job Requirements

EDUCATION REQUIRED: 
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline required

 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
• 6+ years ASP.NET, C#, .NET Framework, programming / development experience
• 6+ years experience building tables, views, stored procedures in SQL Server
• 6+ years experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and Web Services

 

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience writing secure, lean, high-performing, responsive, dynamic web application content for large-scale Internet accessible systems
• Excellent knowledge of OO design principles. 
• Experience applying basic OO design methods, common design patterns, and layering to produce well structured, understandable, maintainable, and testable code
• Ability to develop intuitive and usable UIs that allow users to accomplish tasks efficiently
• Ability to use Agile Development principles to release quality product on time
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize while dealing with multiple projects
• Able to quickly identify, isolate, and fix software failures in a complex system
• Ability to work independently or on a project team
• Passionate developer who takes pride in his or her code
• Experience developing native mobile apps a plus
