Job Requirements

*Must provide leadership, technical direction and support for all manufacturing processes for chemical

  stripping and repair/overhaul of aviation and power generation components

*Must have in-depth knowledge of engineering domain principles, concepts, product standards, and

  techniques, industry practices, regulations and policies   Ability to apply broad knowledge of other 

  related engineering areas to areas of expertise

*Must have experience involving specialized repair or manufacturing of components with properties such

  as: nickel and cobalt based superalloys as well as aviation industry standard alloys.

*Proven implementation/integration of Lean principles and techniques in a manufacturing environment

*Excellent analytical and communication skills required and the ability to communicate change(s)

 effectively and has the ability to influence, build commitment and overcome resistance

*Ability to set short and long term goals and objectives for self and team members, ensuring completion

  in accordance with business strategies

 

EDUCATION:

*Bachelors degree (BS) in Aerospace/Aeronautical/Mechanical/Chemical engineering required,

 Professional  

 Engineer (PE) license and/or Masters degree (MS) preferred.

 

EXPERIENCE:

*Minimum of five years of prior manufacturing operations experience, preferably in Overhaul & Repair

 Aerospace industry

*Minimum of three years of managerial experience

*Experience working with manufacturing based technology, processes, and principles is preferred

*Experience with chemical stripping or equivalent chemical process knowledge and ability to engineer

  improvements to such processes is desired
