Job Description

Shriners Hospitals for Children® is a health care system of 22 hospitals dedicated to

improving the lives of children by providing pediatric specialty care, innovative research, and

outstanding teaching programs for medical professionals. Children up to age 18 with

orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate are eligible for care

and receive all services in a family-centered environment, regardless of ability to pay.

We have a great opportunity for a Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon at Shriners Hospitals for

Children® — are primarily pediatric orthopaedic hospitals, research and teaching

centers. Our hospitals focus on treating children with a host of orthopaedic and neuromusculoskeletal conditions in an environment designed to put children at ease. Every member of our staff, from surgeons to therapists, nurses to orthotists, is focused on providing the highest quality care for the child and the family.

Job Requirements

The Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon we seek will be a leader in the field of pediatric orthopedics and

eligible for an academic appointment at one or more of the hospital's affiliated medical schools.

Individual will have responsibility for the provision of the highest quality patient careThis is a BC position that requires a Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery. The Candidate should demonstrate a commitment to the Shriners Mission and Vision. Responsibilities include;

Surgery, Research, Teaching and Clinical Duties.  Must be American Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
