It is understood that you will be a web analytics ‘guru’ and ‘the best in class’ at managing and optimizing high volume transactional websites.  You will also have experience of using website, mobile and social analytics data to implement changes and have introduced integrated online technologies that drive business performance. 

 

As an expert in your field, you will have the confidence, drive and talent to lead the way for our clients in transforming to a data and insight led business, and at the same time, work in partnership with key stakeholders in order to drive change.  It is essential that your advanced skills in using analytics tools is pin sharp, as is your knowledge of web environments and technologies.

Responsibilities 

i)    As-is assessment of digital analytics architecture for our Fortune 1000 clients

ii)   Design of digital analytics roadmap to continue to improve and enhance actionable insight for marketers

iii)  Establish a framework for automated insight reports  and actionable insight generation

iv)  Perform in-depth analysis of information from multiple data sources (web analytics data as well as external data) and provide significant insights into factors impacting online results

v)   Provide web analytics strategy and best practice guidance for clients; serve as a team expert in web analytics tools

vi)  Develop analysis and recommendations/actionable next steps on improving the online experience, driving more self service and reducing contacts to the agent contacts to the call center.

vii) Develop materials suitable for executive level presentations;   ability to translate findings/results in a clear concise manner

viii)          Develop recommendations for the appropriate measures of success used to evaluate the performance of online support sites and various improvement initiatives

ix)  Develop and lead a high performance Digital Analytics team, as the practice grows

Job Requirements

Required Skills 

1. Knowledge of analytical tools and techniques ; familiarity with leading Web and Social solutions. expertise in at least one of leading web analytics tools (Adobe SiteCatalyst,  WebTrends etc.)

2. Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written communication skills. 

3. Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up team 

4. Have a solid understanding of digital data and be able to interpret that data and make business recommendations

5.  Individual must have exceptionally strong quantitative and analytical skills

6.  Ability to present analytical results to a non-technical audience both internally and client side

Minimum Qualifications

 

Overall 5+ years of consulting experience with

  • 5+ years of experience performing and leading web analytics
  • Expert in site analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Web trends, or Adobe Site Catalyst (Omniture) including implementation/tagging experience and data analytic skills. Omniture Site Catalyst is preferred.
  • Experience with leading business intelligence platforms (Microstrategy, Cognos) is desired
  • Experience with web reporting tools such as: Adobe Report Builder, Tea Leaf, iPerception is desired.
  • Experience developing collaborative relationships and partnerships with the business and technology departments that drive business results, including the ability to translate between technical and non-technical people.
  • Proven self starter who thrives in a fast paced environment

 

Bachelor's degree required - a degree in mathematical, analytical, computer science/web development or similar fields preferred
